Currently this site is run by one Irish MCAS patient who has little resources to engage a wider audience directly, hence we do not currently offer contact information.
As we create more MCAS awareness and start to bring onboard medical professionals willing to engage with suspected MCAS patients, we do hope to post their contact information here.
Unfortunately we do not yet have any testing capability for MCAS in Ireland, nor doctors willing to treat MCAS patients, but we are working hard to change this.
For the moment, our advice is to;
- Watch the full video of Dr Afrin’s MCAS 101 lecture from Maynooth University.
- Read Dr Afrin’s slide deck from the same Maynooth lecture.
- Purchase a copy of Dr Afrin’s book “Never Bet Against Occam: Mast Cell Activation Disease and the Modern Epidemics of Chronic Illness and Medical Complexity”.
If your GP, or any other medical professionals, are keen start to learn about MCAS please, point them towards this site, particularly the resources secetion.
